It was a year today Dad that I saw you for the last time and said goodbye to you. I will never forget how hard it was for me to let you go, knowing that the next day you would be gone forever. You will always be in my heart and I will never forget some of the great memories we shared together. We had some laughs together, enjoyed some fantastic weekends away with the kids. Remember when we went to Cornwall and Abi came out dressed in those horrendous socks and denim skirt? I told her to get changed cos I wasn't going out with her dressed like that and you told her she looked fine and not to get changed. She walked with you holding hands the whole time we were out and you both kept looking back poking your tongues out at me as if to say haha. I can't help but smile when I think back to that. Grandad to the rescue cos you gave in and let her get away with it! Memories like that and many more will stay deep in my memory and when i'm upset i'll do my best to think back to times like that and smile through my tears. I love you so much Dad and still miss you every single day xxxxxxxxxx
